Test and Inspection Electricians to join our client’s high-performing team in

As a Test and Inspection Electrician, you’ll carry out
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and industrial properties. You’ll be identifying faults, testing circuits, and ensuring compliance with the latest safety regulations.
Key responsibilities of this Test and Inspection Electrician role:- Perform EICRs in commercial and industrial settings
- Test wiring, circuits, switchgear & control systems
- Report on defects and safety issues
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations
- Use testing equipment and software to compile accurate reports
- Communicate findings and advice clearly to clients
- Maintain tools and follow all safety protocols
Requirements for this Test and Inspection Electrician role:- Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical testing/inspection
- City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of BS 7671 & electrical systems
- Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
Bonus Structure and Pay:- Daily bonus of £2.70 per circuit for every circuit over 45/day
- Weekend rates: £3.50 per circuit on Saturdays & Sundays
- Average engineer earns £450/week in bonuses
- Most engineers test 55–60 circuits/day
- Last year’s average annual bonus: £12,000
- Some of their earners exceeded this significantly
Details of this Test and Inspection Electrician role:- Fully expensed company van (can be used personally!)
