Job Description
Pertemps are looking for a Transport Resource Planner to support daily logistics operations and ensure smooth coordination between warehousing and distribution activities.

Main duties of this Transport Resource Planner role:
- Assisting the Transport Planners with creating effective, cost-efficient transport schedules
- Communicating with drivers and customers to coordinate delivery details
- Maintaining and updating operational reports
- Troubleshooting delivery issues and providing prompt resolutions
- Keeping transport plans current and accurate throughout the day
- Supporting with general administrative tasks as needed
- Has a strong background in administration and customer service
- Brings previous experience working in a transport-related role (essential)
- Ideally has prior experience in a transport office environment
- Possesses solid knowledge of UK geography
- Is confident using IT systems; experience with transport management systems is a plus
- Has strong general computer literacy and attention to detail
- Location: Stoke-on-Trent
- Salary: £25,235 per annum
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am- 4pm
- Temp to perm
