This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a luxury student accommodation provider. You will be responsible for management of a modern student accommodation site based in Coventry on a temporary basis for an initial 4 weeks

Role: Accommodation Manager
Location: Coventry (Bishopgate Green) - 20 min walk from the station.
Days: 28th November, then Working 4 weeks from 2nd December 2019
Times: 8:30am-5pm
Rate: Cira £15 per hour PAYE

You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Ensure that all visitors and residents receive a warm, friendly and informative welcome
  • Management of Facilities and Health and Safety duties
  • Ensure that all visitors are given an excellent service and given all relevant information about the new accommodation
  • You will show new potential tenants around rooms with the aim to convert viewings into room bookings
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that all enquiries are responded to promptly and efficiently
  • Work with the team to ensure that events and activities are organised to create a fantastic community for all students
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and the owners of the building
  • Ensure that any maintenance issues are addressed once the building opens and rectify in a timely manner
  • Responsibility for sales and marketing duties to promote the site to the target audience
  • Undertake room inspections and report any issues once the building is open
  • Use local knowledge to ensure that visitors and residents are aware of local amenities and attractions to maximise their stay
  • Ensure that budgets are met, and reporting is provided to CRM management and the building owners
  • Ensure that you are keeping informed of competitor's activities and remaining competitive with prices and service offerings

  • Strong communicator with the ability to build rapport with customers, clients and colleagues
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Good understanding of sales and marketing to promote the site to target audience
  • Client focused approach
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Highly organised and proactive approach
  • If you have worked within an academic or hospitality environment previously, this would be an advantage
Experience of working within Student Accommodation is desirable but not essential.
