A growing recruitment company with 50+ years' experience is seeking a Dispatch Advisor to join its expanding team within the Utilities industry. What will I be doing?
" The role is a very reactive role and includes the use of dual screens, an Emergency Dispatcher has the responsibility of making sure Jobs are attended by engineers, by using decision making skills they will allocate jobs to engineers based on a variety of factors such as the distance of the engineer, how long the engineer has left on their current job etc. - the role needs excellent levels of team work as you will be constantly communicating to make sure all jobs are acknowledged and attended by the allocated time.

" The role includes communication with the engineers themselves to make sure that they are still attending the job and to see if there are any barriers in them reaching the job in the specified time.

" Jobs will be allocated to engineers with the use of the Click software, jobs are sent in and then placed onto the engineers schedules for that day which is why attention to detail and data accuracy are vital, it is imperative to make sure the jobs are attended and are in alignment with the engineers' schedules for that day.

What we will be looking for in you:
" Methodical, tenacious and customer focused
" Able to demonstrate an understanding of Customer Service delivery, including experience of working within Customer Services and working to and achieving targets
" Excellent attention to detail.
" Ability to consistently work towards set objectives and tight deadlines.
" Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to ensure that successful relationships are established and maintained with internal and external parties.
" Ability to work in a high pressure environment where there are high volumes of incoming calls
" Data input skills (speed and accuracy)
" Logical thinking with the ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
" Computer literate, with basic understanding of MS Office packages.
" A flexible and adaptable approach to the changing needs of the business' health and Safety obligations
" Ability to work alone and as part of a team, in a dynamic environment
" Self motivated and driven for own personal development
You must be able to work set shift patterns including night shifts, this is a rolling shift pattern so you will always know when you are required to work.

In return the Handler will receive a salary of up to £10.67 per hour depending on performance review scores and completion of training.
