Account Executive - Excellent Career Progression!

Salary £22,000 - £24,000 per annum

Permanent role based in Aldermaston, Berkshire

My client is an industry-leading supplier of luxury goods to the hospitality industry. They work with some of the biggest hotel chains in the world and have over 25,000 customers in over 100 countries. They've recently won some new accounts and are also promoting one of their Senior Account Executives, which means they can now take on two new Account Executives to support the Account Managers and work closely with the customer service team on all corporate account activities.

If you're an ambitious and proactive kind of person who is looking for a varied and challenging job that involves lots of client interaction and offers a clear career development path to Senior Account Executive and then Account Manager, then this would be the ideal job for you!

You will have a background in office based CUSTOMER SERVICE or SALES ADMINISTRATION and will love using your excellent communication skills to solve customer's problems. You'll also be the kind of person who is naturally curious and will want to find out everything there is to know about the accounts and products you'll be working with so that you can be sure to provide accurate information and an exceptional level of customer service at all times.

Obviously you'll be given ongoing training on all the systems and processes you will be using, but you will need to have existing EXCEL skills with the ability to use Pivot tables, V-lookups and formulae as the job is pretty data driven and will require Excel reporting on a daily basis. It would also be really useful if you spoke another European language such as German, French, Italian or Spanish, but this is more of a nice-to-have so please still apply if you don't!

The only other thing you'll need, (apart from a positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow!) is a driving licence and your own transport as their office is in a pretty rural location. Don't worry though, the kitchen is well stocked with free tea and coffee and a microwave and a fridge-freezer and there's a couple of supermarkets just up the road as well as a sandwich van that comes round at lunchtimes!
