Pertemps Managed Solutions is working with a leading self-storage company to find an Assistant Store Manager for their Guildford location.
Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis. Shifts will vary between early and late to cover store opening times.
If you're a people person with a hands-on approach and a drive to exceed targets, this could be a great fit. You’ll support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, helping to grow the business and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver outstanding customer service in person, by phone, and via email
- Maximise sales by promoting products and services
- Support daily operations including health & safety checks and site upkeep
- Handle admin tasks such as contracts and debt management
- Act as a key holder, opening and closing the store
- Coach and support sales advisors
- Contribute to local marketing and recruitment efforts
What We’re Looking For:- A proactive, “lead by example” attitude
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and work independently or as part of a team
- Flexible and eager to learn
