Private Client Lawyer – Devon – 3+ years’ PQE – Salary £50,000-£60,000 (DOE)

THE ROLE:
In this position you will manage your own varied caseload within a busy and expanding private client department, delivering high-quality legal services and embodying the firm’s “It’s all about you” philosophy. The role includes drafting wills, trusts and LPAs, managing estate and trust administration, advising on inheritance tax planning and ensuring full compliance with SRA standards. You will take responsibility for billing and financial management, contribute to business development and work collaboratively across the firm while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and referrers.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have circa 3 years’ PQE in private client work and will have strong organisational skills with the ability to handle both independent and collaborative work. You should be confident in client-facing situations and capable of building long-term relationships. Good IT skills are essential.

It would be desirable if the candidate has suitable qualifications such as STEP membership, SFE accreditation and experience with case management systems. A full, clean driving licence is preferred due to occasional client travel.
