Residential Conveyancing Locum – Hertfordshire

ASAP Start | Long-Term Opportunity | Hybrid / Fully Remote After Week One

A well-established Hertfordshire-based firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Locum to support the department following a prolonged absence. The caseload has been intentionally run down and now needs to be rebuilt, alongside ongoing support for the Partner’s current workload.

This role would suit a reliable, proactive conveyancing locum looking for stability, autonomy, and flexibility, with the opportunity to also provide future cover for annual leave.

The Role
• Handling a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters
• Gradually rebuilding and progressing a previously reduced caseload
• Supporting both your own files and assisting with the Partner’s workload as required
• Initial one week in the Hertfordshire office for handover and onboarding
• Fully remote working thereafter, provided the caseload is managed effectively

Systems & Support
• Case management system: LEAP
• Full secretarial support (1 dedicated secretary)
• Additional typing support provided via an offshore team in India

The Firm Is Looking For
• An experienced Residential Conveyancing Locum
• Someone proactive, organised, and reliable
• A locum who can be trusted to manage files independently and communicate effectively
• Availability to assist with future holiday cover, if required
