JOB TITLE: Family Solicitor                  
PQE REQUIRED: 3+ PQE      
LOCATION: West Yorkshire                 
SALARY: £70,000 DOE                   

THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for managing a varied and interesting caseload across family and childcare law. This will include public law matters such as care proceedings and PLO cases, as well as private law children disputes. You will also handle applications relating to domestic abuse including non-molestation and occupation orders, providing vital support and representation to clients at critical times. In addition, the role will involve advising and representing clients in divorce and financial remedy matters, alongside a broader range of family law issues such as disputes involving unmarried couples and cohabitation. This diversity of work offers the opportunity to develop and maintain a well rounded family law practice.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in family and childcare law. Candidates should be confident working both independently and collaboratively within a team, possess strong advocacy skills and be capable of representing clients effectively at court hearings.
Experience in managing and developing your own caseload is desirable, with an existing client following considered an advantage. A sound understanding of both legal aid and privately funded work is highly valued, as is the ambition to pursue panel accreditation and progress into future leadership or supervisory roles.
