Family Solicitor / Legal Executive | Wiltshire | Competitive Salary

Overview
We are currently working with a well-established firm in Wiltshire who are seeking a dedicated Family Solicitor or CILEX Qualified Legal Executive to join their highly experienced Family Law team. You will work within a supportive and reputable department known for handling the full spectrum of family law matters from initial consultation through to contested court proceedings.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well regarded firm committed to constructive, client centric resolutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, children matters, separation agreements, cohabitation issues, and domestic abuse work.
• Conduct initial consultations and provide clear, empathetic, and practical legal advice.
• Encourage and facilitate mediation and alternative dispute resolution where suitable.
• Prepare legal documents, statements, bundles, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in negotiations and, where required, at court hearings.
• Maintain a non confrontational approach, aligned with Resolution principles.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in both Swindon and Witney offices.

Candidate Requirements
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX).
• Experience in handling a range of family law matters.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to clients.
• Ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to resolving disputes constructively and cost effectively.
• Membership of Resolution (or a willingness to work toward membership).
• Professional, organised, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for families.
