Public Procurement & Contracts Solicitor, 4+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £80,000+ (DOE) - This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that is shaping the future of public sector delivery. JOB REF:3559
THE ROLE:
• You will work with a diverse and high-profile client base, including central government departments, local authorities, education and health institutions, police authorities, charities, and major suppliers operating in the public sector.
• You will advise public sector clients on public law and commercial matters
• Provide clear, technically accurate, and commercially focused advice with exceptional client service
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to support client development and business growth
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Public Procurement & Contracts Solicitors with a minimum of 4 Years PQE.
• Strong experience advising central, devolved, regional, or local government bodies
• Expertise in public law and commercial issues
• A solid understanding of how public sector organisations operate, including the interplay of politics, policy, and delivery
• Commercial awareness with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• A collaborative approach to working with clients and colleagues
