Family Solicitor (Legal Aid), 2+ Years PQE, West Midlands, £55,000+ (DOE) – This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional with experience in legally aided family work to join a supportive and client-focused firm. JOB REF:3994
THE ROLE:
• The successful Family Solicitor will manage a varied caseload predominantly involving Domestic Violence, Private Children, and Financial matters, providing expert advice and representation from initial instruction through to conclusion.
• You will be responsible for predominantly legally aided and some privately funded family matters, to include divorce, domestic violence and injunction proceedings, private Children Act matters, emergency applications and orders and financial remedy matters
• Advocacy on your own matters and where required for colleagues
• Providing excellent client service from instruction through to completion
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Family Solicitors with a minimum of 2 Years PQE with strong experience with Legal Aid applications
• Experience handling domestic violence and private children matters
• Advocacy experience and confidence attending hearings
• It is essential that you have outstanding communication skills, attention to detail and work well within a team environment.
• A proactive, professional, and team-oriented approach
• Membership of Resolution would be advantageous
