JOB TITLE: Insolvency Solicitor
PQE: 5+
LOCATION: Hampshire
SALARY: £65-80,000 (DOE)
THE ROLE:
As part of the firm's expanding Insolvency team, you will work on a broad range of high-quality personal and corporate insolvency matters. The role offers exposure to a diverse mix of transactional, advisory, and contentious work, providing an excellent platform to develop your expertise across the full spectrum of insolvency law. You will advise and represent an impressive client base, including insolvency practitioners, banks, lenders, investors, directors, companies, and high-net-worth individuals, delivering commercially focused solutions on complex and often high-profile matters.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE and demonstrate a strong track record in handling complex personal and corporate insolvency matters. You will possess excellent technical skills, a commercial mindset, and a comprehensive understanding of insolvency law, with solid working knowledge of the Insolvency Act 1986, Insolvency Rules 2016, and Companies Act 2006.
You will have experience advising on a broad range of insolvency and restructuring matters, including security reviews, administration appointments, business and asset sales, transactions at an undervalue, preferences, directors’ loan accounts, winding-up petitions, bankruptcy proceedings, and matrimonial home issues arising in insolvency contexts. Exposure to LPA Receiverships and experience working alongside or appointing LPA Receivers would be particularly advantageous.
An established professional network and the ability to contribute to business development initiatives would be welcomed but are by no means essential.
