OVERVIEW:
• Manage a varied caseload of criminal defence matters.
• Attend police stations and represent clients before the Magistrates' Court.
• Assist with Crown Court matters alongside experienced colleagues.
• Participate in the duty solicitor rota, including out-of-hours call-outs.
• Deliver timely, practical and robust legal advice while maintaining exceptional client care.
• Suitable for qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 1 year's PQE.
• Current Duty Solicitor Accreditation is essential.
• Experience handling criminal defence matters and confidence attending police stations and Magistrates' Court hearings required.
• Strong advocacy, communication and client care skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail and professionalism.
