Job Description
Commercial Litigation Solicitor (5+ PQE) | Stoke-on-Trent | Leading Regional Law Firm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join one of Staffordshire's most respected regional law firms.
With an impressive reputation for advising owner-managed businesses, SMEs, larger corporate organisations and high-net-worth individuals, the firm continues to invest in the growth of its Dispute Resolution team and is looking to appoint an ambitious solicitor with a minimum of five years' PQE.
You will inherit a quality caseload covering a broad range of commercial disputes including contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership issues, professional negligence claims, debt recovery, injunctions, business property disputes and general commercial litigation. The work is varied, intellectually stimulating and generated through longstanding client relationships, meaning there is no expectation to undertake high-volume work.
The successful candidate will have solid technical expertise together with the confidence to manage matters independently, whilst also supporting junior members of the team where appropriate. Business development is an important part of the role and you will enjoy building lasting relationships with clients and professional referrers, contributing to the continued success of an already well-established practice.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded litigator looking to take the next step in their career within a firm that combines high-quality work with a genuine commitment to work-life balance. The culture is collaborative rather than hierarchical, with partners who are approachable, supportive and invested in the development of their people.
In return, you can expect a competitive salary, an attractive benefits package, genuine opportunities for progression and the chance to become part of a successful dispute resolution team with an excellent reputation across the region.
If you are looking for quality work, genuine career prospects and a firm where your contribution will be recognised, we would be delighted to hear from you.
