Data Protection Solicitor, 2+ Years’ PQE, Oxfordshire, To c£95,000 DOE, 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract. • Join a highly regarded specialist team advising clients on a broad range of contentious data protection and information governance matters.
• You will handle complex Subject Access Requests, Freedom of Information Requests, personal data breaches and other challenging issues arising under UK data protection legislation.
• The appointed Solicitor will provide commercially focused advice on a variety of information law matters, working closely with recognised specialists on high-profile and technically complex instructions.
• Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 2 years' PQE and experience in-house Data Protection professionals possessing strong practical expertise in this area.
• You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act, together with experience managing DSARs, FOIA requests and responding to personal data breaches.
• Experience advising on Cyber Attacks, contentious data protection matters and tribunal proceedings would be highly advantageous.
• Initially offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, this role provides the potential for extension or a permanent opportunity as the team continues to expand.
