Job Description

Family Partner, West Midlands, £Highly Competitive + Equity Potential – A rare opportunity has arisen for an established Family Partner to join a progressive and ambitious law firm with significant growth plans across the West Midlands. This role is ideally suited to a well-connected family lawyer with an established following who is looking for the platform, autonomy and support to further develop their practice. REF: 4577

THE ROLE:

This is a key strategic appointment for the firm and offers the opportunity to lead and grow an already successful family practice. You will advise a loyal client base on the full spectrum of privately funded family matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters, cohabitation disputes and pre and post-nuptial agreements. Working closely with the wider partnership, you will play an active role in shaping the future direction of the department, mentoring junior lawyers and driving business development across the region.

THE CANDIDATE:

You will be an experienced Family Solicitor with an established reputation in the West Midlands market and a demonstrable following of clients and professional referrers. You will possess strong technical expertise across privately funded family law and have a proven track record of winning and developing new business. Commercially astute and entrepreneurial, you will enjoy building long-term client relationships and will be looking for a firm that offers genuine support for your ambitions. Previous experience leading a team or mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous but is not essential.

THE FIRM:

This forward-thinking law firm has built an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional client service and investing in its people. With ambitious growth plans, a collaborative culture and a flexible approach to working, the firm offers Partners the freedom to develop their practice with the backing of an experienced leadership team and strong cross-referral opportunities across complementary disciplines.
