OVERVIEW:
• Excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Lawyer to join a growing and supportive team, offering a varied caseload, flexible working and genuine career development.
• Manage your own caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
• Handle a broad range of matters including divorce, financial remedy, public and private children cases, and domestic abuse matters.
• Advise both legally aided and privately funded clients, with legal aid experience being essential.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice and exceptional client care throughout the lifecycle of each matter.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence and court applications.
• Attend court hearings where appropriate to assist Counsel, with the opportunity to undertake your own advocacy.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legal aid and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and build strong client relationships.
• Suitable for qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives and experienced Family Law Paralegals with a minimum of 2 years' family law experience.
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and legislation is essential.
• Excellent communication, organisational and case management skills required.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
