PROCUREMENT SOLICITOR, 4+ PQE, OXFORDSHIRE, £75,000 - £95,000 DOE – Join a leading national public procurement team advising major public sector bodies and leading suppliers on high-profile, commercially significant matters. THE ROLE
You will advise major public sector bodies, utilities, and leading suppliers on complex procurement matters, from shaping tender strategies and drafting procurement documentation to negotiating commercial contracts for high-profile outsourcing projects. You will also play a key role in high-stakes High Court challenges, working alongside specialist litigators on both claims and defences, while contributing to client development, mentoring junior colleagues and helping shape the team’s continued growth.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be a Solicitor with 4+ PQE and strong public procurement experience, backed by a solid understanding of commercial law and public sector requirements. Commercially astute and solutions-focused, you will confidently manage complex matters, build client relationships, and deliver pragmatic advice. Strong drafting, commercial management, and organisational skills are essential, alongside a proactive approach to business development, client engagement and supporting junior colleagues.
