The Opportunity – No Two Transactions Are Quite the Same!
This isn't an opportunity to spend your days buried under an endless pile of leases (although there will inevitably be a few!). It's a chance to work on quality matters, build lasting client relationships and develop your career in a firm that genuinely values its people. You'll be joining an established property team, managing a varied commercial property caseload and getting involved in everything from acquisitions and disposals to landlord and tenant matters. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, get to know your clients and play an important role in the continued success of the department. What You'll Be Getting Stuck Into:
• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
• Handling acquisitions and disposals of commercial premises
• Advising landlords and tenants on leases, renewals and all the fun that comes with them
• Assisting with property development and investment work
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, leases and associated documentation
• Building strong client relationships (because good legal advice and good communication go hand in hand)
• Supporting colleagues and helping the department continue to grow
•
What We're Looking For:
• A qualified Solicitor with ideally 3+ years' PQE
• Experience managing your own commercial property caseload
• Strong technical knowledge and a good understanding of the commercial property market
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Someone who can juggle competing deadlines without needing to hide under their desk
• A proactive, positive team player who knows that collaboration is more effective than reinventing the wheel
