Service Manager Perth

Key responsibilities of the Service Manager include:

• Maintaining the relevance of services to individuals' needs and purchaser requirements through ongoing planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Identifying opportunities for the development of new services and contributing to their establishment.
• Ensuring that service delivery meets agreed standards, in compliance with relevant legislation and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborating with the senior management team to implement and monitor quality assurance systems.
• Upholding the standards outlined in the Scottish Social Services Council Code of Practice and overseeing staff supervision and appraisal processes.

Ideal candidates for this role should demonstrate a strong passion and commitment to leading a well-established service and team towards achieving its objectives. They should possess:

• Experience in working with vulnerable individuals and leading service delivery teams, ensuring a safe operating environment.
• Proficiency in negotiation and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities and housing associations.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a demanding environment.
