Job Title: Workshop QC/ Welding Inspector
Location: Aberdeenshire
Salary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour plus benefit package
Contract: Permanent Full Time - May be required to work overtime when required to facilitate workflow through the workshop.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a QC/Inspector with our client working as part of a driven quality department to ensure delivery of accuracy, competence and mentorship within their workshop.

Requirements

A wide understanding of the key elements required for working within a busy workshop environment in the role of welding and dimensional inspector to ensure compliance to Drawing and welding procedures, to include but not limited too.
Perform pre-weld visual fit up and post weld inspections.
Define re-work or Repairs and document accordingly.
Have the ability to work within a small Quality team and provide assistance with Junior QA/QC personal, reporting to the QA/QC Manager,
Assist in the coordination of NDT Activities.
Provide assistance in documentation and recording/compiling of records.

Essentials

The ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
Qualified to CSWIP 3.0 Minimum.
Time served in their profession (e.g. Minimum City and Guilds Fabrication and Welding qualified or equivalent)
Be familiar with all welding processes.
Knowledge of non-destructing testing methods
Familiarity with Structural Materials
