Claims Adjuster | Global Markets | Hybrid Working | Glasgow- Based | Up to £30k

Our client, a leading international insurance organisation is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join its Global Markets team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of complex and varied claims. You’ll be responsible for:

• Full lifecycle claims handling including coverage analysis, investigation, and evaluation of policy liability, legal liability, and quantum
• Working across Marine, Aviation, Property, or Casualty Claims (experience in any of these is beneficial, but not required)
• Delivering service excellence to clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and settle claims efficiently and fairly
• Manage your own caseload, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and cost control
• Collaborate with a range of professionals including policyholders, brokers, loss adjusters, solicitors, and third parties
• Support and work closely with third-party service providers to maintain service standards
• Represent the company at internal and external meetings, including with brokers and key clients
• Contribute to key client relationship management through responsive and professional communication
• Assist senior adjusters, managers, and underwriters with ad hoc projects and team support

What We’re Looking For

• Previous claims handling experience, ideally in complex or commercial lines
• Experience in Marine, Aviation, Property, or Casualty Claims is a plus
• Strong customer service skills and professional communication (written and verbal)
• Progress toward or completion of professional qualifications (e.g. ACII) is preferred
• A proactive team player who can also manage an independent caseload
