Lead Administrator to oversee day-to-day e-commerce operations, ensuring goods are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for supervising a team of administrators while managing the flow of documentation and processes that keep imports moving smoothly. This is a hands-on role, requiring someone who can balance people management with operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the handling and verification of import paperwork.
- Liaise across operational teams to ensure documentation, clearance, and final mile deliveries run seamlessly.
- Prepare and distribute manifests, load plans, and other transport documentation.
- Act as the first point of contact for staff queries around HR, rosters, payroll, training, and day-to-day issues.
- Coordinate onboarding, right-to-work checks, ID management, and training compliance.
- Support rostering and scheduling to maintain full operational coverage.
- Maintain accurate staff and operational records, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Promote a safe, secure, and efficient working environment, adhering to health & safety and data protection standards.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:- Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- A team-oriented leader who can also work independently under pressure.
- Experience in managing processes, people, and compliance in a fast-moving environment.
