Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the finance team, reporting into the Head of Finance
- Take ownership of monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and cashflow forecasting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Manage balance sheet controls and oversee statutory reporting requirements
- Provide commercial finance support, including insurance and capital investment appraisal
- Drive improvements in finance processes, systems, and internal controls
- Support the executive management team with insightful financial analysis
- Build and scale the finance function in line with business growth
About You
- Fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Currently operating as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller, seeking progression
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence at all levels
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working within an ERP environment is advantageous
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Commercially aware with sound business acumen
- A collaborative team player with the ability to build effective working relationships
