Job Title: Electromechanical Fitter / Installer (multiple positions available)
Location: Winchcombe, Gloucestershire (offices between Cheltenham & Tewkesbury)
Salary: £15.00–£17.50 per hour DOE + Overtime at 1.5x
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–14:00 (40 hours/week)
Travel: Approximately 30–40% (UK & North America)
A leading specialist in bespoke factory automation and control systems is looking for a skilled Electromechanical Fitter/Installer to join their growing team. This is an exciting hands-on role working on diverse projects, including conveyors, robotics, packaging machinery, and vision inspection systems.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Mechanical assembly of industrial machinery and automation systems in-house and onsite
- Occasional electrical wiring and control system support.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and method statements.
- Travel to UK and North American customer sites (typically up to 2 weeks at a time up to 5 times a year).
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.,
Who We’re Looking For:- Apprentice-trained or qualified Mechanical/Electrical Fitter/Assembler.
- 3+ years’ experience assembling/installing industrial machinery/conveyors.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools; basic electrical experience advantageous.
- Experience with pneumatic and electric systems, valves, and medium-sized assemblies.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Full UK driving licence and British/EU passport (for travel to USA/Canada).
