Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions
- Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
- Assess labour, material, plant, and subcontractor costs
- Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate
- Attend pre-tender and client meetings when required
- Manage the tender process from enquiry through to submission
- Liaise closely with commercial, operational, and project delivery teams
- Support business development activities and client relationships
- Maintain awareness of current market conditions and pricing trends
Candidate Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within the façade, cladding, construction, or remediation sector
- Strong technical understanding of façade remediation projects
- Knowledge of External Wall Insulation (EWI), Render Systems, and Cladding
- Proven track record of producing successful tenders and securing projects
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical information
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software packages
