Temporary Transport Administrator   We are currently recruiting for a 
Temporary Transport Administrator to join our client’s busy transport office based in 
Sandbach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
The role is 
ongoing, with the potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate. 
Key Responsibilities of this Transport Administrator role:- Provide daily administrative support to the Transport team.
 - Plan and monitor vehicle schedules, driver routes, and deliveries.
 - Liaise with drivers, customers, and other departments to ensure smooth transport operations.
 - Process delivery notes, PODs, and driver paperwork accurately and efficiently.
 - Maintain up-to-date records on transport management systems.
 - Support compliance with driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and legal documentation.
 - Handle telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
 - Assist the Transport Manager with reporting and general office duties as required.
 
 Skills & Experience Required for this Transport Administrator role:- Previous experience in transport, logistics, or administrative roles (preferred).
 - Strong IT skills – proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
 - Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
 - High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
 - Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
 - A proactive, reliable, and positive team player.
 
 Details of this Transport Administrator role:- £13.00 per hour
 - Monday to Friday 7:30-17:00
 - Friendly, supportive team environment
