Job Description
We are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Driver to join our client’s busy foundry environment in the Congleton area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable, weekday hours and long-term potential for the right candidate.
Main duties of this FLT Driver role:
- Operating a Forklift Truck to transport goods and materials around the foundry
- Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
- Moving stock between production, storage, and dispatch areas
- Supporting general yard and foundry operations as required
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
- In-date FLT licence essential (counterbalance)
- In-house licences will be considered
- Previous experience operating an FLT in an industrial or heavy environment preferred
- Comfortable working in a foundry setting
- Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Hourly rate: £12.74ph, increasing to £13.43 after probation period
- Monday to Friday 8:00-16:30
- Temp to perm position for the right candidate
