Approved Electrician

Pertemps are delighted to be working with our public sector client to recruit for an Approved Electrician to work within their Street Lighting team.

Location - Edinburgh (Sighthill area)
Hours of work - Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1545
Duration - temporary, ongoing
Rate of pay - £16.37 - £19.33 per hour
Start date - asap

The successful candidate will be working as part of an established team who are responsible for all street lighting across Edinburgh. You will be carrying out, but not be limited to, the following tasks:

• Installation, maintenance and repairs of street lighting systems
• Conduct routine inspections and testing
• Diagnose and fix electrical faults
• Maintain accurate work records
• Maintain stock levels
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Any other tasks as required

You should have:

• Approved Electrician Status
• 18th edition qualified
• Knowledge of wiring regulations and safety standards
• A full, clean driving licence (7.5t licence preferable)
• IPAF (desirable)
