Job Description
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Hours of Work: 4 days on 4 days off 06.00-17.02 with 45min break
Rate of Pay: £13.48 - £15.08 per hour
Temporary ongoing work
Duties to Include:
- Driving the relevant vehicles (cage vehicle, litter press, hako, sweeper)
- Working as part of a team
- Heavy lifting - moving and loading, assisting with special uplifts
- Undertaking the appropriate vehicle checks and paperwork
- General street cleaning duties (sweeping, litter picking, weeding)
Essential requirements:
- Valid 7.5t/C1 Driving Licence
- Valid CPC Training Card
- Valid Tacho Card
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence
- Be flexible
- Be reliable
- Have excellent knowledge on driving around Edinburgh
- Be health and safety conscious
- Have good customer service skills
- Have previous driving experience
- Work outdoors in all weather
