Learner Engagement Manager – Work from Home

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a market leading training provider that is going through a period of growth having recently won various funding bids.

They are looking for an experienced Learner Engagement Manager to join their team covering the Greater Manchester Area where you will be involved in engaging with a variety of organisations that support the unemployed. In addition, you will also be engaging with learners that are employed or self-employed who are looking to learn new skills to promote the company's training ‘Boot Camps’ and generate new learners for their programmes and supporting them through to completion of their courses and work placements.

Due to the nature of this position, you will need to be within easy reach of Manchester to attend regular meetings.

The package available for Learner Engagement Manager:

• Basic Salary up to £40000 plus bonus.
• 23 days holiday plus your birthday off and public holidays.

The role of Learner Engagement Manager:

• Proactively engage with Job Centres, Charities, Housing Organisations and Work Programme providers.
• Identify and interview suitable learners for training programmes and associated work placements.
• Arrange and attend open days to secure customers for pre-employment training.
• Provide advice and guidance to potential customers on training services.
• Attendance of school career fairs, networking events and presentations.
• Support learners throughout their journey from initial engagement and course attendance through to work placement completion.
• Deliver targets set out by the Head of Services on a monthly basis.
• Follow up on leads in a timely fashion and pass onto relevant team.

Qualifications, skills and experience required for the role of Learner Engagement Manager:

• Experience working in the Work-Based Learning and Education sector.
• Experience within recruitment would be an advantage.
• Sales/ business development/ learner engagement experience is essential with proven success.
• Strong experience of networking and recruiting Learners to training programmes.
• Level 3 IAG qualification or above (desirable).
• Experience in engaging hard to reach learners.

The position of Learner Engagement Manager is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You will also need to hold a full drivers’ licence and have access to your own transport.
