Rotherham and surrounding areas
Full time - 37 hours per week, 40 weeks worked (Term time plus 4 weeks)
Salary-  £22,256 FTE, (Pro rata £19,688) per annum

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development of students, including those with EHC plans. You will work closely with teachers to provide instructional support, supervise classroom activities, and create a positive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students
• Helping with classroom management and organisation
• Preparing and organising teaching materials and resources
• Supporting students with special needs or learning disabilities
• Assisting with the assessment and recording of student progress
• Performing other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with learners in an educational setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Functional Skills Maths and English L2/C or be willing to work towards
• Supporting, Teaching and Learning qualification L2/3 or be willing to work towards
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology
