Job Description
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be required to:
- Be available for a Monday to Friday, happy with starting around midday
- Loading and unloading deliveries into customer's premise if not forklifted off
- Fully fit and able to move pallets and move customer goods
- Always demonstrating good health and safety practices
- Ensuring good housekeeping at each delivery
- Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and trailers and notify any defects
- Hold a full in date UK Class 1 (C+E) driving license
- Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements
- Over the age of 21 with 1 year driving experience
- Be able to read delivery notes and communicate with customers on delivery
- Paying £16.89 per hour
- Option of weekly or monthly
- Paid annual leave and access to a workplace pension
- On job training provided
- Full PPE provided
- Flexible and regular work available
- Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per day
