We’re currently recruiting reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Mail Sorters to join the busy Royal Mail team at the Southwest Parcel Hub in BS35 4GG for the Christmas peak period.

With the festive season being one of the busiest times of the year for Royal Mail, you’ll play an important role in helping make sure letters and parcels are sorted, processed and ready to reach customers on time. 📦🎁

No previous mail-sorting experience? No problem! We’re looking for people with a great attitude and strong work ethic who are ready to get stuck in.

📍 Location

Southwest Parcel Hub, BS35 4GG

🕒 Shift & Pay

🌙 Late Shift: 14:00 – 22:00
💷 £15.14 per hour

📅 Christmas peak temporary ongoing position

Please note: You must be flexible and able to commit to your chosen shift pattern.

📦 What will you be doing?

As a Mail Sorter, your role will include:

• 📬 Sorting incoming and outgoing mail and parcels
  
  
• 📍 Organising items by postcode and destination
  
  
• 🔍 Checking mail and parcels carefully to ensure accuracy
  
  
• 🚚 Moving mail and parcels throughout the hub
  
  
• ⏱️ Working to tight deadlines and daily targets
  
  
• 🤝 Working closely with the team during the busy Christmas period
  
  
• 🧹 Helping to maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
  
  

🎄 What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are:

• 💪 Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
  
  
• ⚡ Happy working in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• 👀 Able to work accurately with good attention to detail
  
  
• 🤝 Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  
  
• ⏰ Reliable, punctual and committed to their shifts
  
  
• 🇬🇧 Able to provide proof of the right to work in the UK
  
  

Previous warehouse or mail-sorting experience is helpful, but not essential — full training will be provided!
