Job Description
Pertemps is supporting Royal Mail with warehouse recruitment at the Glasgow Mail Centre G21 1AA. We’re currently looking for reliable Mail Sorters who are available to work a range of shifts.
This is a temporary, hands-on role within a busy mail and parcel operation.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Sorting and scanning mail and parcels
- Loading and unloading mail, parcels and pallets
- Moving mail around the warehouse
- Preparing mail and containers for despatch
- Keeping your work area safe and organised
What We’re Looking For
No previous experience is needed as training is provided. You’ll need to:
- Be available to work earlies, lates or night shifts
- Be reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Be happy standing and walking for long periods
- Be able to handle mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg
- Be comfortable switching between different warehouse tasks
- Early Shift - 02:00 – 08:00 (£15.14 per hour)
- Late Shift - 17:00 – 22:00 (£15.14 per hour)
- Night Shift - 23:59 – 08:00 (£16.44 per hour)
- Shifts available daily
- Full training provided
