Warehouse Operatives

Pertemps is supporting Royal Mail with warehouse recruitment at the Scottish Parcel Hub Wishaw, ML2 0XX. We’re currently looking for reliable Mail and Parcel Sorters who are available to work a range of shifts. 

This is a temporary, hands-on role within a busy mail and parcel operation. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Sorting and scanning mail and parcels 
• Loading and unloading mail, parcels and pallets 
• Moving mail around the warehouse 
• Preparing mail and containers for despatch 
• Keeping your work area safe and organised 

What We’re Looking For 

No previous experience is needed as training is provided. You’ll need to: 

• Be available to work earlies, lates or night shifts
• Be reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Be happy standing and walking for long periods
• Be able to handle mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg
• Be comfortable switching between different warehouse tasks

Pay Rates and Hours of work

• Early Shift -  0600-1400 (£15.14 per hour)
• Late Shift – 1400-2200 (£15.14 per hour)
• Night Shift - 2200-0600 (£16.44 per hour)
