CNC Machine Operative

Pertemps are working with an established manufacturing business located in Alton who are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operative to join their growing team.  

 

Responsibilities as a CNC Machine Operative:

• Setting and operating of two different CNC Machines, predominately lathes 
  
  
• Inspection of own work to ensure it meets quality standards
  
  
• Reading technical drawings 
  
  
• Using lathes, mills, drills and gear hobbing machines
  
  
• De-burring
  
  
• Manual Turning/ milling
  
  

 

Requirements:

• Experience in setting and operating CNC Machines
  
  
• TIG welding experience is advantageous
  
  
• Hard working and reliable
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to work as part of a small manufacturing team. 
  
   
  
   
  
  

The CNC Machine Operative Role:

• Based in Alton 
  
  
• Monday – Thursday, 7am - 5.30pm
  
  
• £14 - £15 per hour depending on experience
  
  
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
