Forklift Driver

£16.48 per hour

Rotating Shifts | Monday to Friday
Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

We are currently recruiting for Forklift Drivers to join a globally recognised confectionery manufacturer at their state-of-the-art facility in Estover, Plymouth.

The Role

As a Forklift Driver, you'll play an important role in supporting production and warehouse operations, ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Trucks safely and efficiently
  
  
• Loading and unloading vehicles
  
  
• Moving stock, raw materials, and finished goods around the site
  
  
• Supplying production lines with materials as required
  
  
• Storing stock accurately within warehouse locations
  
  
• Completing routine equipment checks
  
  
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
  
  
• Supporting warehouse and production teams to meet operational targets
  
  

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

About You

We're looking for individuals who are:

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  
  
• Able to work a rotating shift pattern of mornings and afternoons
  
  
• Hold a valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence
  
  
• Experienced operating forklift trucks within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
  
  
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
  
  
• Committed to maintaining high health and safety standards
  
  

Please note: Due to the location of the site and shift start/finish times, own transport is essential.
