WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, a multi-award-winning office machine distributor, for a Warehouse Operative to join their successful and friendly team on a temporary basis.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including:

• Picking and packing orders
  
  
• Loading and unloading deliveries
  
  
• Stock handling and movement
  
  
• General warehouse housekeeping
  
  
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to ensure smooth operations
  
  

Previous warehouse experience is essential, and a valid forklift licence would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
  
  
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
  
  
• Be able to work independently when required
  
  
• Enjoy working as part of a team
  
  
• Take pride in their work and contribute positively to a high-performing warehouse operation
  
  

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
  
  
• 9:00am to 5:30pm
  
  
• £12.80 per hour
