Property Legal Assistant
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Property Legal Assistant to join a busy and supportive team.
This is a full-time, office-based position, suited to someone with previous experience in residential conveyancing who is confident supporting matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide administrative and legal support across a range of residential property transactions, including:
• Assisting with new client instructions and onboarding
• Preparing and managing client documentation
• Supporting the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
• Preparing and issuing contract documentation
• Ordering and reviewing property searches
• Liaising with clients, solicitors and other parties by telephone and email
• Assisting with exchange and completion processes
• Preparing completion statements
• Assisting with the receipt and transfer of funds
• Supporting post-completion matters, including registrations and SDLT submissions
• Providing a high standard of client service at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience in residential conveyancing
• Understands the conveyancing process from start to finish
• Has excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Is confident communicating with clients and professional contacts
• Has strong attention to detail
• Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Is able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Works well both independently and as part of a team
• Provides a professional and approachable service to clients
