We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy client site, overseeing a small team of 4 operatives. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who leads from the front and thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Role Overview:

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations, accuracy, and efficiency at all times. You will not be office-based – this is a working supervisory role where you will be fully involved in warehouse activities while leading and supporting your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate a team of 4 warehouse operatives 
  
  
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity and safety standards are met 
  
  
• Work alongside the team in all warehouse duties, including goods in/out, picking, packing, and stock control 
  
  
• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck as required (licence essential) 
  
  
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed at all times 
  
  
• Support training, development, and performance of team members 
  
  
• Assist in resolving operational issues quickly and effectively 
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a warehouse environment 
  
  
• Strong, hands-on approach – must be willing to lead by example 
  
  
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties 
  
  
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential) 
  
  
• Strong communication and organisational skills 
  
  
• Reliable, proactive, and able to manage workload under pressure
