An exciting opportunity to join a leading e-commerce , 3PL business as part of their Project Management team. Due to continued contract wins we are now recruiting 4 new Project Managers. Paying an attractive salary of up to £55,000 the role offers the opportunity for progression and autonomy in the role.
The role purpose is to design and implement complex supply chain management solutions for our clients and manage site wide projects for all functions across the business. The employee will have an holistic view on how a logistics company works. This role will provide an understanding on how operations, account management, IT, logistic engineering etc. function. This position is perfect for people who are eager to learn all aspects about the business.
The main duties of the role are:
Project Management (process of supporting existing clients):
- Coordinate project initiatives across different departments. Define both strategic and operational recommendations for action.
- Managing the implementation of the RFPs solutions: coordinate the client integration, the SAP/IT set up, warehouse setup, business processes, budget and investments.
- Deliver presentations and communicate broad business topics to management, employees, peers, vendors and clients.
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership team.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources
The successful candidates should have the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics or Industrial Engineering. Masters preferred
- + 5 years work experience required. Preferred if the experience is in the logistics industry
- Able to demonstrate proactivity, good time management and eager to learn.
- Operates as an independent, proactive, motivated self-starter who remains focused on task and delivering results in timely manner.
- Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong social skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with global stakeholders, across business verticals at all levels, as well as external client communications at all levels.
- High degree of intercultural affinity because we are a global company.
- Experience on international background is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
- Excellent MS office + data analytics skills
- The role offers a hybrid working model, with a salary of up to £50,000 - £55,000 + fantastic benefits.
