We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fish production company for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their night distribution team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with guaranteed hours, a consistent route, and your own dedicated vehicle.

The RoleAs a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering fresh products to customers safely and on time. Prior to commencing deliveries, you will support the warehouse operation by assisting with the preparation and loading of orders.

This role offers a structured working pattern, with the same delivery route and vehicle assigned, helping you build familiarity with customers and delivery locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the movement and handling of boxes of fish weighing between 1kg and 24kg
  
  
• Supporting loading activities prior to departure
  
  
• Counting delivery units and verifying loads are accurate before leaving site
  
  
• Checking and double-checking delivery notes against loaded stock
  
  
• Completing between 3 and 10 deliveries per shift
  
  
• Delivering products safely, professionally and efficiently
  
  
• Maintaining high standards of customer service at delivery locations
  
  
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
  
  
• Returning completed paperwork and reporting any discrepancies
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  
  
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  
  
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
  
  
• Good attention to detail when checking orders and delivery documentation
  
  
• Physically fit and comfortable handling products up to 24kg
  
  
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
