Sheridan Maine is excited to be partnering with a dedicated not-for-profit organisation based in central Bristol. Our client is looking for an experienced Invoicing Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
 
The Invoicing Coordinator will be responsible for all invoicing areas of work, supporting the Financial Controller, and ensuring that the invoicing process runs efficiently and that excellent customer service is delivered.
 
Your responsibilities as the Invoicing Coordinator will include:
  • Support the Financial Controller in managing invoicing operations and processes.
  • Manage and monitor debtor accounts, ensuring timely payments and effective credit control.
  • Co-ordinate the issuing, chasing and processing of CSDs.
  • Coordinate fee change and ensuring all systems are updated within required timelines including liaison with and providing data to Business Development on yearly fee reviews
  • Resolve complex invoice and fee queries, working closely with clients and internal teams.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the invoicing function.
  • Prepare regular reports for Senior Management and Business Development leads, providing supplementary analysis of data as required.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service. Identify and act on improvements to customer service.
  • Assist the Invoicing Team Lead in conducting training sessions on E-Cert, Sage, and Spindle for the invoicing team.
  • Update internal work instructions, procedures and standard letters as required.
 
To be considered for the role of Invoicing Coordinator, you will require:
  • Proven experience in invoicing, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of reviewing processes and implementing improvements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
