Commercial Finance Manager - Hybrid

Sheridan Maine is thrilled to be working exclusively with a well-known business to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to play a key role in shaping business strategy, driving performance, and influencing decision-making.
 
This role offers a hybrid working patten, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial and Trading Insights – Review daily, weekly and monthly trading performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Budgeting and Forecasting – Work closely with Commercial Finance and Buying teams to translate commercial plans into robust financial models.
• Supplier Rebates and Incentives – Oversee supplier funding, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
• Pricing and Stock Analysis – Support pricing decisions and stock management through detailed financial modelling and reporting.
• Process Improvements – Continuously refine reporting and analytical processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

 
What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Commercially savvy with strong business partnering experience (Retail/FMCG experience desirable).
• Advanced Excel skills and exposure to data analytics tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to see both the details and the bigger picture.
• Confident communicator, able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
