Sheridan Maine is recruiting on behalf of a growing and dynamic organisation based in Central London, who are seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to support their finance function during a busy period of growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join a fast-paced team and make an immediate impact within a supportive and evolving finance environment.

Key responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely supplier payments
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
• Assisting with month-end close processes
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team as required

As the Accounts Payable Assistant, you will have/be:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance administration role
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Confident using accounting systems and Excel
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on in a busy finance function and is available to start at short notice.
