Sheridan Maine is working in partnership with a well-established and growing accounting firm based in North London to recruit an Audit Senior. The Role
The Audit Senior will play a key role in the delivery of audit assignments, supporting managers and partners while supervising junior team members. You will take responsibility for planning and completing audit work, liaising directly with clients, and ensuring audits are delivered to a high standard.

The Audit Senior will be responsible for:

•  Planning and delivering audit assignments from start to finish.
•  Supervising, coaching, and reviewing the work of junior audit staff.
•  Preparing and reviewing audit files, working papers, and reports.
•  Liaising with clients to resolve queries and discuss audit findings.
•  Ensuring compliance with audit methodology, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
•  Supporting audit managers with ad hoc projects and assignments. 

 
The successful Audit Senior will possess:

•  ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist, with strong audit experience gained within practice.
•  A solid technical understanding of UK accounting and audit standards.
•  Experience of leading audits and supervising junior team members.
•  Strong communication and client-facing skills.
•  Excellent attention to detail with a well-organised approach to work.
