Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Northwest London, who are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to take the next step in their career, gaining exposure to a varied client base while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role
As Audit & Accounts Senior, you will manage a mixed workload, taking responsibility for audit assignments and the preparation of statutory accounts, working closely with clients and senior colleagues.

Your responsibilities as the Audit & Accounts Senior will include:

• Leading audits from planning through to completion for a varied client portfolio.
• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Assisting with the supervision and mentoring of junior team members.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and responding to queries.
• Ensuring compliance with UK accounting and auditing standards.
• Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client service.

To be considered for this Audit & Accounts Senior role, you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
• Be ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or actively studying.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive and professional approach to work.
