Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a well-established business accountancy firm based in Southwest London to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant to take ownership of client portfolios and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accounts services.

The role:
You will manage a portfolio of clients, leading audits and preparing financial statements, while also mentoring junior team members. This is a hands-on position that offers exposure to a wide variety of clients and sectors, providing a strong platform for career progression.

Your key responsibilities as the Audit & Accounts Senior will include:

• Leading audits and client engagements from planning to completion.
• Preparing statutory accounts for a diverse client base.
• Reviewing and supervising the work of junior staff.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting compliance and advisory work as required.

To be considered for this Audit & Accounts Senior position, you will have:

• An ACA/ACCA qualification with relevant practice experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and audit processes.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Leadership potential and a collaborative approach.
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
